For every quote you obtain from a qualified System Provider, a ‘Quote Record’ will be generated in the RateSetter system, ready for you to apply for the subsidy should you accept their quote.
The System Provider may even generate the Quote Record while they are with you during a site visit at your home. Otherwise, you’ll receive an email notification to view and approve your Quote Record online at a later date. At this time you can begin the subsidy application process and apply for finance if required.
If you don’t have an email address or access to a computer, the System Provider will ensure that a paper copy of the subsidy application form is posted to you.
If you intend on applying for finance you will need to do this online. Your chosen System Provider will come to your home with a tablet or mobile device and step you through the subsidy application process and assist you to apply for finance.

You will be redirected to the RateSetter website to review your Quote Record before applying for the subsidy. Subject to credit approval, you will be able to apply for finance at this stage.
Your chosen System Provider will then contact you to arrange a time for installation.
At the time of installation the System Provider will ask you to confirm you are satisfied with the installation. Only after you are satisfied with the installation will RateSetter release the subsidy and finance, where applicable to your chosen System Provider.
